Abstract:

Hydrogen has long been considered a clean energy source with the potential to replace fossil fuels, and many countries are investing lots of money for research and development taking hydrogen as the ultimate solution to energy and environment issues. Hydrogen production technology is the most important technical aspects in hydrogen utilization. In order to comprehensively grasp the research situation of hydrogen production technology in China, this paper analyzes and summarizes the research characteristics and R&D focus of hydrogen production technology in China from the aspects of patent overall situation, technical theme, regional distribution and important patentee, summed up the current mainstream technology of hydrogen production route. At last, we give recommendations for hydrogen technology and industry development in China.
