Preparation and electrochemical performance of Al2O3-SiO/C anode material for lithium ion batteries

Abstract:

 The SiO/C composites were synthesized via a simple stirring and following pyrolysis of silicon monoxide and pitch mixture. Then Al2O3-SiO/C composites were prepared by water bath heating and the thermal decomposition using SiO/C composites, aluminium nitrate, ammonia solution, urea as raw materials. The phase composition, morphology and structure of the samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, specific surface area and laser particle analyzer. As a result, the electrochemical performance indicated the Al2O3-SiO/C composites with the urea had the best electrochemical performance and exhibited the reversible capacity of 1436.4 mA·h·g1 and 74.81% coulombic efficiency in the initial cycle.
