Modeling and simulation of phase change material based energy storage system using fluid-solid coupling

Abstract: Thermal storage technology can effectively solve the problems of clean energy, such as wind power, photovoltaic and nuclear power, become one of the research focuses of energy storage. We present a modeling and simulation method for a phase change material energy system using fluid-solid coupling. Numerical simulations were carried out by using the method. The modelling results were found to be consistent with the experimental data.
