Numerical simulation of forced convective heat transfer of molten salt in tubes

Abstract: Numerical simulations were performed on forced convective heat transfer characteristics of molten salts in tubes. Correlations were proposed for the convective heat transfer coefficient. The numerical results were compared with experiments and a good agreement was obtained at a Reynold number between 10000 and 60000.
